特徵描述

生活型

形態特徵

  • Woody vine; branches quadrate, pubescent, subpubescent or subglabrous.
  • Leaves subcoriaceous or papery, elliptic, ovate or oblong, (7.1-)8.8–10.8(–11) cm long, (3.4-)4.2–5.8(–7.1) cm broad, apex acuminate, base rounded or truncate, glabrous or with thin hairs along the veins above, sparsely hairs beneath; petioles short or sessile, 4–10 mm long, pubescent; stipules large, bifid, thinly hairy outside.
  • Flowers in globose head, 2.–3.7 cm in diam., peduncles 2.8–3.3 cm long, pubescent; peduncles headless, converted into stout hooks; bracts 5, elliptic or broadly lanceolate, pubescent, deciduous; calyx-lobes 4–5, pubescent, persistent; corolla slender, funnelform, 12–15 mm long, glabrous or nearly so, 4–5-lobed, apex rounded; stamens short; styles long-exserted, 18–20 mm long, ovary hairy.
  • Capsules elongated spindle-form, pale brown, 9–27 mm long, 1–3 mm in diam. Seeds many, minute, winged at each end.

分布

  • 台灣 : found only in the southern part of this island and on Lanyu Island.
  • 世界 : The Philippines and Moluccas.
